Angus & Julia Stone are an Australian folk and indie-pop duo - siblings Angus (b. 1986) and Julia (b. 1984) Stone, who grew up on Sydney's Northern Beaches and began performing together around 2005. Their 2010 album Down the Way debuted at number one in Australia and swept five ARIA Awards, including Album of the Year and Single of the Year for "Big Jet Plane". The 2014 self-titled album, produced by Rick Rubin, became their highest-charting international release, and their 2024 record Cape Forestier - recorded at Angus' own Sugarcane Mountain Studios in New South Wales - marked their first studio LP together in seven years.
Angus & Julia Stone released their sixth studio album Cape Forestier on May 10, 2024, their first joint LP in seven years, recorded at Angus' Sugarcane Mountain Studios in New South Wales.
The duo is currently on a 2026 European tour with 18 scheduled shows across Germany, France, the UK and more, opening with a date in Dresden on June 25.
Their London show at KOKO on July 1, 2026 sold out.
Cape Forestier includes a cover of Bob Dylan's "I Want You", recorded spontaneously during a writing session at Angus' home studio.
The duo released Life Is Strange on August 20, 2021 - a soundtrack album for the video game Life Is Strange: True Colors.
