In der Blüte meiner Abnutzung - Michael Ranz

When I was young, everything was different! Singles were made of vinyl, not desperation. I could remember everything, whether it had actually happened or not. And "unhealthy" was just another word for "delicious".
These days I'm comprehensively uninterested. Before I can work myself up again, I'd rather not care at all. I'm also completely indifferent to who dies in a film - as long as the dog makes it! Ever since I started imagining soap bubbles floating out of politicians' mouths when they speak, their words have at least become something to look at. And I've discovered that a short afternoon nap is like melting cheese over the rest of the day. Honestly, life is too short to be sad. We need to smile more - it unsettles people.
In his fifth solo programme, Michael Ranz once again lets Tobias Saalfeld put plenty of words in his mouth. Two hours of practice in smirking, smiling and laughing. Professionals are welcome to shriek, whinny, cheer and slap their thighs. Phones away - just enjoy life! Oh, and one more thing: when short people open their umbrellas, they look like mushrooms.
