Louis Spohr Orchester Braunschweig - A Symphonic Programme with Brahms, Weber and Schubert
Lessingtheater, Wolfenbüttel, Germany
The Louis Spohr Orchester Braunschweig, conducted by Tobias Rokahr (since 2023), performs a symphonic programme featuring works by Brahms, Weber and Schubert. Clarinetist Joscha Kremsler appears as soloist.
The ensemble gives several concerts annually in Braunschweig and the surrounding region, performing a repertoire ranging from chamber orchestra to full symphony. It regularly features soloists from the Berlin Philharmonic; another focus is the promotion of young talent.
Joscha Kremsler, born in 2005 in Tübingen, began playing clarinet at age eleven. In 2021 he was admitted to preparatory studies with Prof. Kilian Herold at the Freiburg University of Music, where he has been pursuing his bachelor's degree since 2023.
