Around the World in 80 Days
A Theatrical Spectacle by Soeren Voima after Jules Verne
A daring wager sets the stage: Lady Philea Fogg commits to circumnavigating the Earth in just 80 days. Accompanied by her servant Passepartout, she embarks on a perilous journey across oceans and continents, through the burgeoning metropolises of the 19th century - by steamship, railway, and even on an elephant. Relentlessly pursued by Inspector Fix, the voyage becomes a race against time.
Soeren Voima's play after Jules Verne merges breakneck pacing with poetic moments, weaving together humour, suspense, and observations of human behaviour. Beneath the adventure lies a text that questions the pursuit of success, progress, and self-fulfilment while celebrating the allure of the unknown.
