Ariana Burstein and Roberto Legnani celebrate 30 years of performing together in 2026. Under the motto "The Best of 30 Years," the duo presents musical highlights from three decades of joint concert activity.

The programme combines classical masterworks with colourful influences from world music. Works by O'Carolan, Albéniz, de Falla, and Monti stand alongside Roberto Legnani's own compositions, marked by melodic richness, rhythmic variety, and a distinctive voice.

A special programme highlight is "Le Tombeau" by Roberto Legnani. The work was created in memoriam of master guitar maker Dieter Hopf, who passed away on 13 January 2026. Since 1986, Legnani has performed on Hopf's legendary guitar "La Portentosa". Dieter Hopf worked from his workshop in Taunusstein-Wehen and was one of the defining figures in modern classical guitar making. Le Tombeau honours his memory and his instruments, renowned for their balance, resonance, and extraordinary richness of overtones.

The rare combination of cello and guitar opens up a multifaceted sound world - from Baroque elegance to contemporary forms of expression. The anniversary programme is both a retrospective and a forward-looking statement on a living, evolving musical partnership.
