They used to be the Wise Guys - now they are Alte Bekannte. In spring 2025, their new show made its Tuttlingen debut; ahead of Christmas 2026, it returns there in a special holiday edition. Once again, expect a cappella vocals of the highest order.

The five-piece a cappella group has been winning over large live audiences since 2017, carrying on the legacy of the legendary Wise Guys. Their Christmas programme approaches the festive season from two angles: a set of brand-new original songs that look at Christmas with a fresh - and often humorous - eye, alongside their own takes on beloved traditional carols such as "Es ist ein Ros' entsprungen" and "Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht", letting those timeless melodies shine in the quintet's distinctive a cappella sound.

The mix of a 21st-century perspective on Christmas and a heartfelt celebration of melodies that have lived in people's hearts for generations gives the evening a wide emotional range - reflective one moment, thoroughly entertaining the next. Variety and a few surprises are part of the deal, and plenty of songs invite the audience to sing along.
