Harald Schmidt completed his acting studies in 1981 at the State Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Stuttgart and subsequently performed on stages in Stuttgart, Augsburg, Düsseldorf, and Bochum, among others. In the 1990s and 2000s, he became known primarily as a late-night talk show host. He also regularly performs as a cabaret artist.

Bernd Gnann, a native of Upper Swabia, is a trained actor (State Academy of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart) who performs in theater and television roles alongside solo programs, and works as a voice actor, audiobook narrator, and moderator. Since 2009, he has been the managing director of Kammertheater Karlsruhe.
