At the centre of the story is the friendship between Mowgli and Baloo. The charming bear lives by his own rules - laid-back, always cheerful and endlessly fascinated by the human world. With Mowgli by his side, the two friends plunge into an adventure that broadens their horizons and shows just how exciting differences can be. The calm and steady panther Bagheera is always there when needed. But the peace doesn't last: Shere Khan, proud and bitter, is biding his time. Driven by his fear of fire and his hatred of humans, he waits for his moment of revenge.
