Heinrich del Core - "Juhuu, meine Frau wird Oma!" | Open Air

When Heinrich Del Core takes the stage in his red shoes and starts telling stories from everyday life, you want to shout: "No way! That never happened - he made it all up!" But every single one of these situations, which have us laughing in disbelief, is something he actually lived through. Del Core is a magnet for bizarre everyday moments, which he then delivers with an irresistibly mischievous charm.
And now the moment has arrived. Heinrich is becoming a grandfather - and more importantly: his wife is becoming a grandmother! She has been looking forward to this for so long! The new situation turns everything upside down overnight. Del Core's world is suddenly different: he buys a pram that costs as much as a moped used to, or a Thermomix today. He downloads baby apps for his wife and bakes a Bundt cake for family coffee get-togethers.
Does "grandpa" sound old to Heinrich? He definitely feels younger - except in the mornings when he gets up. His joints sometimes make noises then... But his wife always cheers him up: "You're still in great shape." She herself has never worried about getting older. Once she left the kids a note: "Gone to the cemetery" - and Heinrich added underneath: "But we'll be back."
On top of all that, two weddings are coming up. Heinrich gains a son-in-law and a daughter-in-law. And inevitably, one of them is a vegan wedding. Heinrich wonders: who is a vegan wedding a nightmare for? A confirmed bachelor. Is everything there made of cheese, or do you have to go without butter? Can you even ask: "everything has an end, only sausage has two"? And of course there are more stories - because at Heinrich's place, the holidays are just around the corner again...
