Olaf Schubert brings his new cabaret programme "Jetzt oder now!" to Ilsenburg on Thursday, 17 September 2026 at 19:30 at Harzlandhalle, joined by Jochen M. Barkask and Herr Stephan. The show blends absurdist humour with philosophical questions, examining the international tensions of the contemporary world through Schubert's characteristic mix of satire and reflection. About: Olaf Schubert

Born Michael Haubold in Plauen, Schubert built his career around a deadpan alter ego who tackles the world's problems in a too-tight sweater vest - and has been doing so on the ZDF "heute-show" since 2009. His current touring programme "Jetzt oder now!" runs through 2027 alongside the long-running "Dresdner Stadtrundshow".
