Forensic pathologist Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Lessig, judge Stefan Caspari, and Michael Ulrich, head of the evidence-gathering unit at the LKA, are confirmed speakers. Audiences can watch live as the professionals dissect spectacular murder cases. They recreate the sequence of events, such as the attack in Halle, explore the psychology of perpetrators, and explain the sentences and verdicts handed down by the court.
Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Lessig is a specialist in forensic medicine and forensic dentist. For more than ten years, he has been director of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Halle.
Judge Stefan Caspari is the presiding judge of the regional court and passes judgment on murderers, rapists, and fraudsters. He provides insight into the sometimes complex process of judicial decision-making. He explains sentences and verdicts.
Michael Ulrich is head of the crime-scene unit at the State Criminal Police Office of Saxony-Anhalt. For over 30 years, he has been responsible for evidence gathering in serious crimes.
