Fonse Doppelhammer - Zum Jammern glangt´s no ned!

Fonse Doppelhammer is a cabaret comedian from Lower Bavaria whose social-media videos have racked up millions of clicks. He is known as a multiple star guest and winner of the comedy show "Sehr Witzig!?" on Austrian channel PULS4, and as the winner of the joke casting show "Bayerns beste Witze" 2019 on Bayerischer Rundfunk. In 2023 he warmed up the crowd for Monika Gruber as the opening act of her show.

His full cabaret programme "Sauwitzig" - packed with gags and jokes - took him on tour through Bavaria and Austria in 2023.

On stage, Fonse gives a charming look into his own life: he talks at length about growing up in the Lower Bavarian town of Straubing and reflects on his marriage and family life with plenty of self-deprecating humour. He slips into various characters and guides the audience through a set loaded with punchlines and comic set-pieces.

The highlight is his alter ego Grabner Karl - a hard-drinking gravedigger who has lost his livelihood to modern burial methods like cremation and, above all, composting ("de Greana forderns immer mehr"). Karl tries to make ends meet through advertising, handing out flyers, and setting up a funeral chapel.

What sets Doppelhammer's show apart is that alongside the laughs he sneaks in a genuine message: think positive, stay calm, and keep your sense of humour no matter what - or, as Grabner Karl puts it: "Wer ned liabt und wer ned lacht und wer nia gloane Fehler macht. Wer ned guat isst und trinkt zugleich, is lebendig scho a Leich."
