Popular singer-songwriter Gerhard Schöne, saxophonist Ralf Benschu, known for his performances with the band Keimzeit, and church music director and organist Jens Goldhardt unite different musical approaches in an extraordinarily moving concert experience.

The programme "I Open the Door Wide in the Evening", which they present, brings the audience closer to Schöne's well-known, new and rarely performed songs, convincingly translates his reworked chorales into the present day and leaves room for organ works by Johann Sebastian Bach. Secular and sacred music harmonize with power and emotion in a way that is rarely experienced.
