Gerhard Schöne & Musikanten - Kings from the Orient - Farewell Tour of the Christmas Program — Stadthalle Limbach-Oberfrohna, Limbach-Oberfrohna

For the last time, the "Kings from the Orient" are on tour
A joyful and atmospheric Christmas journey from the Appalachians (A) via the Eiffel Tower to the Sugar Loaf (Z)

For singing together and creative participation, as well as for quiet moments
With musicians from the group L'ART DE PASSAGE and Therese Thomaschke (shadow theatre)

Dressed in Oriental style, wearing embroidered caps and decorated belts, wide trousers and high-necked shirts, the musicians (the kings) take the stage.

Dressed in black and barefoot, the storyteller sits at the edge of the stage in front of a large shadow theatre screen. Gerhard Schöne and his musicians tell stories through Christmas children's songs from around the world about the Appalachians, the Eiffel Tower, and the Sugar Loaf - about the great celebration of families worldwide. The atmosphere is lively and joyful, singing together and creative participation are warmly welcomed. But the audience falls silent when the Christmas story appears as a shadow theatre on the large screen.

Gerhard Schöne loves transformation. Yet he remains true to himself and his audience. His Christmas program for families is on tour for the last time. It certainly ranks among the most beautiful experiences for children and parents, as well as for clever aunts and cool cousins.

Cast:
With L'art de passage: Stefan Kling (piano), Rainer Schwander (zither, saxophone, flute), Rolo Rodriguez (drums, percussion) and Therese Thomaschke (puppet and shadow theatre)
Directed by: Therese Thomaschke
