A theatrical monologue by Michael Decar
performed by Gotthard Hauschild
Anyone who thought politics could no longer shock them is in for a surprise - because a seemingly extinct species has just stepped onto the stage: Rex Osterwald, silver-tongued and fondly nicknamed "T-Rex" on the talk-show circuit. Honey seems to drip from his supposed dinosaur teeth. He is cold-blooded, yet allegedly wears his heart in the right place and radiates warmth for everyone around him.
But what really lies behind his charming anecdotes about cats and his little jabs at the media and the political establishment? And is Rex Osterwald a T-Rex - or "merely" a politician with a very toothy grin?
