Berlin / Los Angeles - "The Music of Hans Zimmer & Others" is a spectacular concert and audiovisual experience for audiences of all ages - film fans, music lovers and families alike. The Hollywood Film Orchestra performs in a stunning show with light installations, laser projections and carefully selected film clips. Star soloists from the original Broadway production will perform excerpts from "The Lion King", Zimmer's most beloved blockbuster.

No other composer has shaped the world of cinema over the past two decades quite like Oscar, Golden Globe and Emmy winner Hans Zimmer, whose breathtaking scores include James Bond, The Lion King, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gladiator, The Dark Knight, Man of Steel, Inception and Interstellar.

The celebrated German composer Hans Zimmer, who has written music for more than 200 films, won his second Oscar for Dune (2022), having received his first Academy Award for The Lion King (1994).

Zimmer has cited Ennio Morricone as his idol and inspiration - the programme includes excerpts from Morricone's repertoire: "The Good, the Bad and the Ugly" and "Once Upon a Time in the West". Zimmer followed Morricone's lead by composing film scores before shooting rather than after, a practice that shaped entire productions. It was this approach that led him to rework the opening of Ridley Scott's Gladiator - after which the world-famous director moved into Zimmer's studio.
