LaBrassBanda launch the "Polka Party"!

The Bavarian brass rebels return with a new album and a spectacular tour! With their unique blend of brass, pop, techno and ska, combined with Bavarian charm and a healthy dose of punk attitude, they have revolutionized brass music and captivated millions of fans. From "Habediehre" through "Übersee" to "Europa" - LaBrassBanda deliver hit after hit and create legendary parties with their high-energy live shows.

What began in 2007 as a musical revolution in Bavaria, shaking up traditionalists while drawing youth to brass music in droves, reached full force in 2013 at the German Eurovision preselection. Sold-out concert halls followed from Berlin to Cologne, Hamburg to Munich. Language barriers from Bavarian dialect lyrics? None. The biggest festival stages at Southside and Hurricane were literally overrun by fans when the band, led by frontman Stefan Dettl, set the night sky ablaze with their electrifying sound of brass, hip-hop, punk rock and techno. LaBrassBanda are a sure thing on stage - word spread fast across Europe: in 2014 these classically trained musicians toured all of Great Britain and have long been a fixture at major festivals.

Their 2014 album "Kiah Royal" was recorded in a cowshed. Guest musicians included Christoph Well, Rocko Schamoni and Stephan Remmler. Together with music journalist Jan Wehn, the band released the book "Barfuß in Lederhosen um die Welt" in 2022, a blend of photo book and biography that chronicles their travels to Marrakech, Novosibirsk and the USA.
