E!VIS - King Keber

The quiff, the oversized glasses, the rhinestone-studded suits - all present and correct. Carsten Keber also has the unmistakable voice of the "King" down to a tee. The Paderborn-born performer embodies Elvis Presley so authentically that his interpretations of Elvis songs took first place in the Music Contest at the European Elvis Festival 2024 in Bad Nauheim.

This appearance by Carsten Keber and his band "The Hipshooters" marks their sixth guest show at the Detmolder Sommertheater - and a return to the very stage where, exactly 22 years ago, the "King" first stepped into a white glitter jumpsuit. Colourful lighting effects and glowing smoke fountains transform the open-air theatre into a Las Vegas stage, as "Elvis" and "The Hipshooters" take the audience on a journey back to the era of the greatest rock 'n' roll legend of all time.
