Nicolas is 17 and no longer the carefree child he once was. Everything around him feels like too much - growing up, his final year at school, his parents' separation, his father's new family. He skips school and lashes out. What is happening to him?

At his own request, he moves from his overwhelmed mother to his father Pierre and Pierre's new wife. Pierre is racked with guilt and tries everything to help his son. The move is meant to restore some order to Nicolas's troubled mind and give him back his will to live. At first, things seem to settle.

Then a failed suicide attempt makes clear that Nicolas's problems run far deeper than anyone had assumed. Pierre is desperate, yet he decides against seeking professional help. Will his love be enough to save his son from himself?
