Somewhere between clowning and physical theatre, a wordless stage adventure unfolds - one where poetry and absurdity blend in a genuinely charming way. Two figures, sharing a single coat, tumble into a fantastical story full of illusions, dexterity and unexpected comedy.

A visual show brimming with wit and warmth, it doubles as a poetic argument for the power of working together. A first for Kempen!

The award-winning theatre duo Mario & Mela was founded in 2017 at the Accademia Dimitri and has since become a fixture on the international theatre and circus circuit. "Cicala's Tango" has been touring Europe successfully since 2022, showcasing their poetic, body-driven stage craft.

The event can at first only be booked as part of the "Knallbunt-Abo für GROSSE Kinder" subscription. Sales for new subscribers open on Saturday, 11 July 2026.
