Dance Piece Number 11

Following last year's major jubilee production, the eleventh dance piece takes the stage with eleven dancers. Some have been involved from the beginning, while others joined in the past year.

Each dancer will be in the spotlight during one of eleven scenes. Working with choreographers Christine Grunert and Olaf Herzog, they will explore their personal relationship to dance.

Through engaging with individual dance preferences, desires, experiences, and aversions, previously undiscovered movement possibilities and their limits are explored. These form the foundation for solos, duets, trios, or group dance scenes. Short poems - "Elfchen" - serve as inspiration in this production, acting as a poetic bridge between body and spirit. They find expression in the dancers' individual movements and frame certain scenes. These poetic impulses enrich, accompany, and support the creative process in their own unique way.
