Orchestra School Trip

MDR-Sinfonieorchester performs at MDR Studio in Leipzig on Thursday, 15 October 2026 at 10:00 for an interactive school concert. This is one of three German dates for the orchestra, which blends education with classical music. The audience-students and families-participates actively: playing, singing, and conducting while discovering works by Mozart, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, and Grieg. The concert takes place at MDR Studio, the main production and broadcasting centre of the public broadcaster Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, where the orchestra is based. Admission: 25 €.
