Michel Celebrates Christmas - Based on the Picture Book by Astrid Lindgren

Gustav Gustavson is expecting visitors. His grandchildren are coming for Christmas, and of course he wants to give them a gift. A story. The story of Michel from Lönneberga, who at Christmas invites all the poor folk from the almshouse to his home, treats them to the supplies meant for the big family feast, and traps the greedy overseer Maduskan in a wolf pit.

But Gustavson doesn't just want to read the story to his grandchildren - he wants to perform it for them as a proper piece of theatre, with all the trimmings. He needs someone to try it out on first, to see whether what he has come up with is any good. Who could spare him a little time and simply watch? Perhaps the audience? That would be perfect!
