5th Castle Concert: In the Salon of Amalie Beer

The hr-Sinfonieorchester performs a chamber concert on Sunday, 30 August 2026 at 19:30 in Residenzschloss Bad Arolsen. The programme evokes the atmosphere of Berlin's Amalie Beer salon, featuring works by Spohr, Hensel, Weber and Viardot, performed by Anne-Sophie Bertrand (harp) and Andrea Chudak (soprano). This is one of eight German dates on the orchestra's tour. Residenzschloss ranks among Germany's largest Baroque palace complexes, built in the 18th century as a residence for the Waldeck princes. The expansive state rooms and palace grounds provide a distinctive setting for this chamber evening. Admission is 21 €.
