hr-Sinfonieorchester is a German symphony orchestra based in Frankfurt am Main, founded in 1929. It serves as the orchestra of Hessischer Rundfunk (Hesse Broadcasting) and ranks among Germany's foremost radio orchestras. It performs regularly in Frankfurt as well as on international stages.
