LaBrassBanda kick off the "Polka Party"!

The Bavarian brass rebels are back with a new album and a spectacular tour! With their unique blend of brass, pop, techno and ska, paired with Bavarian charm and a healthy dose of punk attitude, they have revolutionized brass music and captivated millions of fans. From "Habediehre" through "Übersee" to "Europa" - LaBrassBanda deliver hit after hit and create legendary parties with their high-energy live shows.

What began in 2007 as a musical revolution in Bavaria, shaking up traditionalists while drawing youth to brass music in droves, reached all of Germany by 2013 during the national Eurovision selection. Sold-out concert halls followed from Berlin to Cologne, Hamburg to Munich. Language barriers? None. The biggest festival stages at Southside and Hurricane Festival were literally overrun by fans when the band, led by frontman Stefan Dettl, set the night sky ablaze with their infectious sound of brass-pop, hip-hop, punk and techno. LaBrassBanda are a sure thing live - word spread fast across Europe: in 2014 the trained musicians toured throughout Great Britain and are now established fixtures at all major festivals.

Their 2014 album "Kiah Royal" was recorded in a cow barn. Guest musicians included Christoph Well, Rocko Schamoni and Stephan Remmler. Together with music journalist Jan Wehn, the band published the book "Barfuß in Lederhosen um die Welt" in 2022 - a mix of photo album and biography that chronicles the band's travels to Marrakech, Novosibirsk and the USA. 2024 was an eventful year for the band.
