For decades, the Linos Ensemble has captivated audiences with a rare blend of precision and emotional depth. Founded in 1977, the ensemble has established itself as a distinguished ambassador for chamber music - rooted in tradition yet always looking ahead.

In 2027, two landmark anniversaries converge: the 200th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven's death and the 50th anniversary of the Linos Ensemble, which has delighted audiences since the very first Meisterkonzerte season. The anniversary programme presents Beethoven alongside five decades of ensemble experience, performed in a range of configurations from quintet to an eleven-piece line-up. Beethoven's timeless music is brought to life with the musical maturity of an ensemble that can look back on 50 years of international concert activity and more than 40 CD recordings.
