The third concert in the International Organ Concert Series takes place on Sunday, 9 August at 5 pm, bringing Stephen Tharp to St. Peter - one of the great concert organists of our time. His career spans countless prizes and honours; he serves as Artist-in-Residence at Riverside Church in New York City and is currently nominated for a Grammy. He has thrilled audiences in St. Peter before with powerful performances and inspired improvisations.

This year's programme includes works by Dupré, Franck, Baker and Hakim.

About the venue: Barockkirche St. Peter

St. Peter's Baroque church in the Black Forest village of St. Peter is one of the finest sacred buildings in southwest Germany. Built between 1727 and 1727 by the master architect Peter Thumb for the Benedictine abbey, its twin-towered facade and richly decorated interior - including ceiling frescoes by Franz Joseph Spiegler - draw visitors and concert audiences alike. The church regularly hosts organ concerts and classical music events.
