Tenor saxophonist Steffen Müller-Kaiser is a familiar face in Heppenheim, having drawn attention with his warm, sensitive sound across a wide range of ensembles. With the acoustic jazz trio TriTon, he brings a chamber-music sensibility to both jazz standards old and new, as well as well-known pop songs - all given a distinctive personal treatment. On small stages or large, the trio wins audiences over with sheer musical joy, varied improvisation, and a playful spontaneity.
