The Schlosstheater Celle, housed inside the Renaissance ducal palace in the centre of Celle, is one of the oldest still-operating court theatres in Germany. The intimate baroque auditorium dates from 1674 and seats around 230 guests. It stages drama, opera, and music performances throughout the year.
