Krzysztof Urbański is a Polish conductor born in 1982, trained at the music academies of Poznań and Vienna. His career took off after winning the Fitelberg Conducting Competition in 2007. He has served as chief conductor of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the NDR Radiophilharmonie in Hanover.
