Description was written before the event

"Hamlet - Commentary" by Teatr Pieśń Kozła does not retell the familiar drama - it looks beneath its surface. The action takes place two months before the events described by Shakespeare, and what matters most happens inside the characters.

Fourteen actors build the narrative not only through words, but primarily through sound and polyphony. The performance is conducted in English; audiences receive a translation of the spoken texts into Polish and song lyrics in English. Grzegorz Bral (Chorus Leader) provides commentary in Polish throughout. After the performance, there will be a meeting with Grzegorz Bral.
