A performance of "The Accidental Death of an Anarchist" at the Powszechny Theatre in Warsaw.
"How wonderful a police station is! It is a place where I have a date with the state..." – ironized Nadezhda Mandelstam.
The spectacle unfolds in an absurd world where personal stories meet political reality. The play explores the relationship between the individual and power, between freedom and authoritarianism, between life and death. Nadezhda Mandelstam, a Russian poet and wife of poet Osip Mandelstam, becomes a guide for the audience through the dark corridors of a police station, where a game of survival and resistance plays out.
