Sunset Flow Meditation
No.33 di Vinegre, Sopot, Poland
Gratitude is not positive thinking. It doesn't mean convincing yourself that everything is fine - it doesn't require a perfect day or a good mood. It's the ability to see life as it is and notice that amid all the events, challenges, and emotions, there is always something to be grateful for.
When we consciously direct our attention in the evening to what we received from life that day, the mind stops circling around what we lacked. Instead of endlessly analyzing and replaying the day's events, we begin to close them. The practice of gratitude before sleep affects not only our well-being but also the quality of our rest - the body receives a signal of safety, the nervous system calms down, the inner dialogue slows.
We'll meet on the beach just before sunset. The sea reminds us of the natural rhythm of tides, the sunset - that every moment has its closure. Because the way we end our day often becomes the way we live the next one.
