"The Big Bad Fox" is a world theatrical premiere based on the bestselling comic of the same name.

The titular fox dreams of spreading terror and shaking the entire forest - but nothing ever goes his way. Every hunting attempt ends in failure and humiliation, and the fox himself becomes the laughing stock of the neighbourhood, especially among the chickens. Helpless and constantly hungry (because lettuce alone won't fill you up), he lets a wolf convince him of an apparently brilliant plan: why hunt chickens and risk your life when you can steal eggs, raise chicks until they're plump, and have a ready meal? What sounds great in theory proves very difficult in practice - and in this comic-based show, also hilarious.

The story explores themes of friendship, finding one's own identity and place in the world, sacrifice, and maternal love.

The puppets used in the show were designed based on children's drawings selected in a competition for theatrical puppet designs.
