Antigone in New York
Teatr Nowy im. K. Dejmka w Łodzi, Łódź, Poland
The heroes of "Antigone" from Tompkins Square Park have reached their dream world, but nobody needs them there. They are poignantly lonely and lost in one of the world's richest cities. Why did their American dream not come true? The world of Anita, Flea, and Sasha - woven from memories, imagination, dreams, and myths - becomes a story about fears and longing, without cheap moralizing or displays of tragedy, but with a strong sense of humor.
