About
1914 is a blackened death/doom metal band from Lviv, Ukraine, founded in 2014 - the centenary of the war that defines their entire artistic identity. Every album, lyric and visual element draws from the history of World War I, treating the conflict not as spectacle but as human tragedy. Signed to Napalm Records, they have released four studio albums, the latest being Viribus Unitis (2025), and built a devoted following across Europe and beyond.
