Acres are a post-hardcore and alternative metal band from Portsmouth, England, formed in 2011. Over three albums - Lonely World (2019), Burning Throne (2023) and The Host (2025) - they have steadily shifted from screamo roots toward melodic, hook-driven heavy music, earning praise from Kerrang! and Alternative Press along the way. Their third album was recorded in Michigan with The Plot In You frontman Landon Tewers producing, and released via Tooth & Nail / Solid State Records.
