Buffalo Tom is an American alternative rock trio from Boston, Massachusetts, formed in 1986 by guitarist/vocalist Bill Janovitz, bassist/vocalist Chris Colbourn, and drummer Tom Maginnis. They rose to prominence in the early 1990s with albums like Let Me Come Over (1992) and Big Red Letter Day (1993), earning strong critical followings on both sides of the Atlantic. After a lengthy hiatus, the original lineup reunited in 2007 and has remained active, releasing their tenth studio album, Jump Rope, in 2024.
Buffalo Tom have announced a European tour for October 2026, with dates in Belfast, Edinburgh, Manchester, London, Hamburg, Berlin, and Groningen.
