About

Catnapp is the project of Amparo Battaglia, an Argentine producer and vocalist who relocated from Buenos Aires to Berlin in 2015. Her music fuses breakbeat, drum and bass, rap and industrial-tinged electronics into a sound that swings between confrontational and intimate - often within the same track. She signed to Modeselektor's Monkeytown Records in 2018 and runs her own NAPP Records, while her live performances at venues like Berghain and festivals like Sónar have earned her a reputation as one of the underground's most physically intense acts.
