Corrosion of Conformity (C.O.C.) is an American heavy metal band from Raleigh, North Carolina, active since 1982. Starting out in hardcore punk and crossover thrash, they gradually shifted toward a heavier, blues-drenched Southern metal sound - earning a reputation as one of the genre's most influential acts. Their 1994 album Deliverance and its follow-up Wiseblood (1996) remain landmark records, while 2018's No Cross No Crown became the band's highest-charting release, reaching #67 on the Billboard 200. In April 2026 they returned with Good God / Baad Man, a double album on Nuclear Blast - their first studio record in eight years.
