Crowbar - Confess To Nothing 2026
Legendary sludge metal pioneers Crowbar take the stage in Aschaffenburg. A landmark show at Colos-Saal.
Crowbar is an American sludge metal band from New Orleans, Louisiana, active since 1990. Founded by vocalist and guitarist Kirk Windstein - the group's only constant member - they helped define the New Orleans heavy metal sound by fusing slow, crushing doom metal with hardcore punk aggression. Albums such as "Crowbar" (1993) and "Odd Fellows Rest" (1998) are considered genre landmarks, and their 2022 release "Zero and Below" was praised as a return to raw, uncompromising form.
Kirk Windstein confirmed in an interview that Crowbar are eager to begin writing and recording a follow-up to "Zero and Below", while noting the band's Spotify monthly listeners had climbed to around 1.2 million.
Crowbar and Eyehategod announced a spring 2026 U.S. co-headlining tour running from March 19 in Baton Rouge through April 18 in New Orleans.
Kirk Windstein released his second solo album "Ethereal Waves" on October 3, 2025 via Perseverance Media Group.
Crowbar joined Napalm Death, Full of Hell, and Brat on a European tour that kicked off February 5 at the Turbinenhalle in Oberhausen, Germany.
Crowbar released "Zero and Below" on March 4, 2022 via MNRK Heavy, their twelfth studio album, praised for its return to raw sludge roots.
