GEORDIE GREEP | POZNAŃ
British alternative visionary Geordie Greep comes to Poznań. The artist known from Black Midi and his experimental solo work blending prog rock, jazz and art rock.
Geordie Greep (born 20 August 1999, Walthamstow, London) is an English singer, guitarist and songwriter who fronted the critically acclaimed avant-prog band black midi from 2017 until the group's hiatus in 2024. After the split he launched a solo career, releasing his debut album The New Sound on Rough Trade Records in October 2024 - a sprawling jazz-rock and Latin-inflected record that drew on sessions partly recorded in São Paulo. His voice, often described as 'geographically unclassifiable', and his narrative-driven songwriting have made him one of the more distinctive figures in contemporary British rock.
Geordie Greep was announced as part of the second wave of acts for Fuji Rock Festival 2026 in Japan.
Greep performed at Glastonbury Festival 2025, appearing on the Park Stage lineup.
Greep announced an 18-date US tour for September 2025, his third North American run behind The New Sound.
A live review noted that Greep's solo career had nearly doubled black midi's monthly Spotify listener count.
