Jacob Collier (born 2 August 1994, London) is a British singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer and educator who rose to fame with viral split-screen YouTube covers recorded in his family home in North London. Mentored by Quincy Jones, he went on to release six studio albums - including the ambitious four-volume Djesse series - earning seven Grammy Awards across all five of his first albums, a feat no British artist had achieved before. His live shows are as much a spectacle as his recordings: he routinely conducts entire concert audiences in improvised multi-part harmonies, turning thousands of strangers into a single choir.
