John Beasley

About

John Beasley is an American jazz pianist, composer and arranger based in Los Angeles. He has worked with artists ranging from Miles Davis to Dianne Reeves and is known for his large-ensemble project MONK'estra, which reimagines Thelonious Monk's music for big band. He also serves as musical director of the Monterey Jazz Festival Next Generation Orchestra.
