Jon Anderson is a British singer and songwriter, best known as the founding vocalist of the progressive rock band Yes, which he co-founded with bassist Chris Squire in London in 1968. His naturally high tenor voice and spiritually charged lyrics shaped landmark albums such as Fragile, Close to the Edge and Tales from Topographic Oceans, and he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Yes in 2017. Since 2023 he has toured and recorded with The Band Geeks - a group led by Blue Öyster Cult bassist Richie Castellano - performing the Yes catalogue alongside new original material. Their debut album True (2024) and live record Perpetual Change (2025) mark a productive late-career chapter, with a second studio album in preparation for release in the second half of 2026.
