Kittie is a Canadian heavy metal band from London, Ontario, formed in 1996 around sisters Morgan (vocals/guitar) and Mercedes Lander (drums). Their gold-certified debut Spit (1999) made them one of the first all-female acts to break through in nu-metal, and their catalogue has sold over two million copies worldwide. After a decade-long hiatus, they returned in 2022 and released Fire (2024) - their first new album in 13 years - to widespread critical acclaim.
