Laboratorium Pieśni (Song Laboratory) is a seven-voice all-female ensemble from the Polish Tri-City region, founded in 2013 by Alina Jurczyszyn and Kamila Bigus. The group performs traditional polyphonic songs from Slavic, Balkan, Baltic, Georgian and Scandinavian traditions - a cappella and with shamanic drums, shruti box, kalimba and other ethnic instruments. Their video for the Belarusian song 'Sztoj pa moru' has surpassed 17 million YouTube views, and their albums 'Rasti' and 'Hé oyáte' were both nominated for Poland's Fryderyk Award in the World Music category.
Laboratorium Pieśni announced their new album 'SEPTEM' (Latin for 'seven') and a Polish tour with premiere concerts in Wrocław, Gdańsk, Katowice, Łódź, Kraków, Poznań and Szczecin.
