Lera Lynn (born 1984, Houston, Texas) is an American singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based in Nashville, whose sound moves between Americana, folk noir, indie rock and art pop. She gained wide recognition through her music and on-screen role in HBO's True Detective (season 2, 2015), where she collaborated with producer T Bone Burnett and songwriter Rosanne Cash. Across nine studio albums released on her own label, Ruby Range Records, she has built a devoted cult following on both sides of the Atlantic.
