About

Massacre is an American death metal band from Florida, active since 1984, whose early lineup overlapped directly with Death - vocalist Kam Lee is widely credited with pioneering the death growl on the band's 1986 demo "Aggressive Tyrant". Their 1991 debut "From Beyond" (Earache Records) became a cornerstone of the Florida death metal scene. After multiple breakups and reformations, the band has been active continuously since 2019 under Kam Lee's leadership, releasing their fifth studio album "Necrolution" via Agonia Records in November 2024.
